Administrative note: as of this morning, my attempts to reply to comments here have been failing in Firefox. I can still post comments using Safari, which is how I posted my most recent replies, but my main browser is Firefox so this is not a good long-term solution. I've tried various mitigations, so far to no avail. If anyone else is experiencing difficulties, or if you have any ideas what's going on or what to do about it, please do your best to let me know somehow. I really want to get this fixed if I can.
