A week ago I reported on
an unprecedented number of fire-related temporary flight restrictions in southern Oregon. This is what the situation looked like this morning:
As you can see, what used to be half a dozen separate TFRs (temporary flight restrictions) have merged into one monster TFR (though they are still officially listed separately). And it's still only July. It will likely be
at least 2-3 months before it rains. Welcome to
the new normal.
