I was going to mention David Brin's post on the difference between climate change skeptics and deniers, but I just realised that that's rather pointless.

We have for some time been in the Shirley MacLaine era of politics: you create your own reality.

Shows how science responds to *legitimate* criticism. Not that I expect anyone who puts stock in those cartoons to notice.
